Weekend Watch

I hope everyone enjoyed their Thanksgiving, had some family time, watched football and of course some college basketball.
This is our first Weekend Watch post of the year. We are excited to bring you the fan some interesting and engaging content throughout the course of the year.
This past week featured some of the most entertaining games of the non-conference portion of the schedule. This weekend is a relatively light weekend.

Florida State vs Harvard in the Battle 4 Atlantis in Nassau
Florida State, featuring arguably the best defense in the country and currently number 3 in the adjusted defense rankings according to KenPom, looks to get its first commendable win of the season against the upstart Crimson. Harvard has been one of the most efficient offenses in the country led by forwards Kyle Casey and Keith Wright. Harvard will look to play this game at a very slow tempo and notch its first signature win under the Tommy Amaker era.

Syracuse vs Stanford in the NIT Season Tip-Off at Madison Square Garden
So far this season some people have clamored that the A-10 is better than the Pac-12. The Pac-12 has deservedly gotten no respect to this point. Stanford has a chance to change that with a signature win against one of the nation's premier teams in Syracuse. The Orange will look to use their depth to help pick up the tempo as Stanford likes to play at a slower pace. The Orange have an incredibly balanced and efficient offensive attack. It will be interesting to see who the Orange turn to in crunch time without a true star if the Cardinal can keep it close.

St. Louis vs Villanova in the 76 Classic
We will have more on this game in the very near future, but this one features a good St. Louis defense versus a good Villanova offense. Both teams come in with 4-0 records and weak SOS, so there should be a lot to take away from this game.
